Description of Work
Asymmetrical shapes, dissimilar metals, and often loving or whimsical designs that are fun and wearable characterize Dale Birchler’s jewelry. She likes to challenge assumption. Dale loves pieces that began as so-called “mistakes” then evolved into new techniques, particularly in her metal textures. A few of these “mistakes” become one-of-a kind, mixed media framed art. Recently, Dale discovered a new use for her weaving background with her woven beadwork bracelets and necklaces.
